Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be met by our guide and driven to Mikumi National Park. The drive takes about 4–5 hours, passing through rural villages and scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling at your lodge.
Explore the diverse wildlife of Mikumi, often compared to the Serengeti due to its vast plains. The park is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and hippos. The day includes a picnic lunch in the park before an evening drive back to the lodge.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest wildlife reserves. Arrive in time for a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can spot crocodiles, hippos, and waterbirds.
Spend the day on a thrilling game drive through the park’s vast wilderness, home to lions, elephants, wild dogs, and a variety of antelope species. Later, experience a guided walking safari with an expert ranger, offering an up-close experience of nature.
Enjoy a morning game drive before heading back to Dar es Salaam. Drop-off at the airport or your hotel for departure.
